Q: Should I feel or notice anything in particular while taking Glucocil?
A: Although individuals may vary in their response to Glucocil (just as they do to any healthcare product), most current users:
- Feel less hungry, thus less inclined to over eat or snack.
- Notice a difference in their blood sugar levels.
- Feel more energetic.
- Notice a loss of weight, typically first around the waist line.
Q: Is Glucocil effective immediately or does it take a while to work?
A: For most people, Glucocil usually has an immediate effect on post-meal blood sugar levels. Many will feel a reduction in appetite after taking the product for a few days. It will, however, probably take about two weeks for most people to notice a change in body weight and waistline.
Q: Is there a way for me to test to see if Glucocil is working?
A: Yes. To find out if your post-meal blood sugar level is affected, just do the following simple test:
Test—Day One: Eat your regular breakfast after fasting overnight. The breakfast should contain some carbohydrates (such as bread), so there is a detectable change in your blood sugar after eating. Check your blood sugar levels with a blood glucose meter from finger tip blood samples taken at 15 and 30 minutes after eating. Usually, one of these two meter readings show the peak or close- to- peak of your post-meal blood sugar level.
Test—Day Two: Follow the same procedures as Day One, except take two Glucocil capsules 15 minutes before eating the same amount and type of breakfast. Compare your blood sugar levels from Day One and Day Two.
Q: Are there any negative side effects from taking Glucocil?
A: Some people may initially have minor gastrointestinal symptoms such as gas, bloating, constipation, mild diarrhea, etc. But, in most cases, these symptoms disappear after taking the product for about a week.
Q: What proof is there that Glucocil works?
A: Multiple clinical studies have shown that the ingredients in Glucocil work in various ways to help reduce the body’s absorption of sugars and carbohydrates, make the body’s insulin work better, help suppress appetite, etc. Please see the How Glucocil Works and Clinical and Laboratory Research sections of this website.
Q: Other members of my family are overweight; should I suggest they take Glucocil?
A:Glucocil is a safe, natural product. Although designed for people with Type II diabetes, it can also be used by people who are overweight, pre-diabetic, or have metabolic syndrome. Glucocil can help them improve insulin sensitivity and manage their body weight. But be sure they consult their healthcare professionals before taking Glucocil. They should also not take Glucocil if they have liver or kidney problems, are pregnant or nursing, or are under age 18.
Q: Where can I find Glucocil?
A: Right now, Glucocil is only available from this website. If it becomes available in other locations, we will make that information available on this website.
Q: Can I take Glucocil if I’m on other medications?
A: Since everyone’s case is different, please consult your physician before starting Glucocil if you are on other medications.
Q: Is it important to exercise and watch my diet while taking Glucocil?
A: Although it requires a lifestyle change, a healthy diet and regular exercise are critical in controlling diabetes and excess weight. Adding Glucocil, however, greatly enhances their effect and so helps you stay with your diet and exercise program.
Q: Can I stop taking my other medications if I feel better on Glucocil?
A: You need to consult your healthcare professionals before stopping or changing your other medications.
Q: Can I take Glucocil while pregnant or lactating?
A:We recommend that you NOT take Glucocil while pregnant or lactating.
Q: Who should NOT take Glucocil?
A: Glucocil is not recommended for people who:
- use insulin
- are younger than 18
- are pregnant or nursing
- have other health problems, such as heart or liver or kidney disease, cancer, etc.
Q: What if I forget to take Glucocil before meals?" Should I take it as soon as I remember? Or should I just take a regular or double dose at the next meal?
A: If you forget to take Glucocil before a meal, you can take it with the meal. But if you forget to take Glucocil before or with a meal, just take the regular dose before the next meal. (Do not take a double dose!)
Q: If Glucocil makes me less hungry, is it safe to skip meals?
A:Although you should eat smaller portions, do not skip any meals. We recommend that people with diabetes eat three small meals and two healthy in-between meal snacks.
Q: The instructions say to take Glucocil before lunch and dinner, but can I take it with breakfast, too? Is it safe to take 3 times a day?
A: The idea is to take Glucocil before two major meals. If breakfast is one of them, it makes sense to take it then. Glucocil can also be taken 3 times a day, before each meal.
